About Us

It all started with 2 dietitians....
Pounds of Prevention (POP) was created because Maria Swartz and Rhea Li realized the importance of sharing their wellness knowledge with the public. With the growing concern of obesity, among both adults and children, they wanted to help prevent future diseases and health problems for everyone. In addition, they felt that many businesses lacked a sufficient wellness program for employees and they aim to fill that void.

As a "wellness on wheels" program, POP offers fun and interactive wellness programs for both individuals and companies.  All programs are tailored to your needs offering both nutrition and physical activity information. For your convenience, the POP dietitians will come out to present to you, clients, or staff.

Pounds of Prevention teaches YOU to live a healthier lifestyle, one "pound" at a time!
